I love, love, love to see the finished projects made from yarn I dyed. This beautiful scarf was made recently by someone who has just recently learned how to crochet. Isn't this stunning?

it was made from this yummy, soft yarn i dyed last winter. the blank yarn is brown sheep lanaloft, and it is a dream to work with.

On the needles

Yesterday I began a project. Instead of finishing one of any number of lonely cast offs still on the needles, I started something new. This one is the Bob sweater (Bob stands for button-on-blanket) and I hope it knits up fast. I have exactly one week until my anatomy class begins and it's always fun to reference a particular time in your life to what knitting you we're doing at the time. Given my track record it is unlikely that I will finish this before the class ends, but it's a reasonable goal. I love the color of this yarn.  It's different from most greens. It reminds me of moss or really intense algae. I'll try to post a progress report at the end of my last week of 'freedom."
